EU Tightens Customs Rules for Small Parcels from November
From November 1, a new EU-wide processing fee will apply to small parcels from non-EU countries. The European Parliament has given final approval to the sweeping reform of EU customs law, after the Council had already agreed in early September. Temu Lose Ground in Hungary as New EU Customs Charge Bites
Hungarian shoppers are ordering more cautiously from Temu, Shein and AliExpress, according to PwC Hungary, since the customs-duty exemption for parcels up to EUR 150 ended on July, 1 and a € 3 customs charge now applies per product category. Some European marketplaces are already benefiting.
