TikTok Shop is establishing itself as a serious platform: In the UK, 41% of revenue already comes from products priced above £100. Peak season fees at Amazon
In the UK and Germany, Amazon is charging FBA users an additional fee of 10 to 15 pence or 19 cents per package from mid-October to mid-January. 288 million US customers against Amazon
A US court has upheld a class action lawsuit against Amazon for unfair competition and excessive fees. At the core of the allegations are fee increases of 42 percent within just five years. On average, 27 cents of every dollar spent on the marketplace goes to Amazon rather than the seller. This makes the marketplace business far more profitable for Amazon than its own retail sales. In addition, various pricing clauses are under scrutiny for allegedly hindering fair competition. More at Heise
