The Finnish delivery platform Wolt has completed its shift to a general shopping platform with an app update. TikTok Shop launches new logistics offensive in Europe
TikTok Shop wants to set new standards in cross-border e-commerce with its new concept of “local fulfillment centers.” Retailers send their goods to warehouses in Europe – currently in Spain, Germany, or Italy. From there, TikTok takes over all logistics, including storage, shipping, and returns. In the US, TikTok Shop is completely discontinuing shipping by sellers. Douglas increases sales despite declining margins
The perfumery chain’s Douglas consolidated sales rose by 1.7% to €1.67 billion in the Christmas quarter (the first quarter of the 2025/2026 fiscal year). Decathlon acquires Rebike
Decathlon Pulse, the investment arm of French sporting goods retailer Decathlon, has acquired a majority stake in Rebike. This move strengthens Decathlon’s reCommerce ambitions. Rebike refurbishes around 20,000 e-bikes annually in flagship stores and via marketplaces. Rebike now plans to further expand its business in Italy, Spain, Poland, and Germany. See more on ZAGdaily
